By world practice it has been saved up considerable experience of processing and preparation of raw materials for metallurgical repartition. The closing stage of raw materials preparation practically is always agglomeration (structurization), allowing to use these raw materials in domain, steel-smelting ferro-alloy and fire-resistant production.

Technological formation processes elements of artificial metallurgical structures from small materials i.e. sintering mix prepared, agglomerates, pellets and briquettes are stated in this book. The modern technology of sintering mix preparation, providing equilibrium agglomerate reception with high metallurgical properties is described.

This book represents attempt of a regular statement of a structurization problem with participation of liquid phases, and also principles of functional properties formation of raw agglomerates within the limits of the modern physical and chemical theories which basis are classical physics and the quantum mechanics laws, that is laws of interaction of macroscopical bodies and collective behavior of microscopic particles, commensurable with atoms and internuclear distances.

In this book basic technologies classification, realizing various small materials processing with participation of diverse liquid phases into artificial structures, possessing the set physical and chemical properties which are necessary at the subsequent repartitions (agglomerate, pellet, briquettes, gumboils production) is resulted.

Researches results of oxidized nickel ores enrichment and preparation for fusion are stated. It is developed and the technological scheme of oxidized nickel ore preparation for fusion is tested in industrial conditions. Metallurgical properties of briquettes and their influence on technical and economic indicators of nickel matte production in mine furnaces are investigated.

Technological aspects of high metallurgical properties briquettes production are presented in the book. Influence of agglomerates metallurgical properties on indicators and nickel matte production engineering in mine furnaces is reported.
